How long does your headlight clear coat last?

Great question! Our clear coat typically lasts between 3–5 years. The longevity depends largely on how well the application is done and how carefully the headlights are maintained over time. Proper care can help maximize the clarity and extend the results.

How many vehicles can I do with a single can?

Great question! We guarantee enough clear coat in each can to fully restore one vehicle’s headlights. Depending on the size of the headlights and how efficiently the product is applied, you may be able to cover 2–3 vehicles per can.

What does your Lifetime Warranty cover?

Our lifetime warranty specifically covers hazing or yellowing that occurs under normal use. It does not cover issues caused by improper application — such as flaking, drips, or peeling — so it’s important to follow the instructions carefully for the best results.

Why is this method better than using wipes?

A wipe–style applicator starts drenched but dries out as you swipe the lens, so the beginning lays down plenty of coating and the end gets very little, severely cutting the longevity of the clarity. Our aerosol sprays a consistent coating across the entire lens in one go, giving you even, full-coverage protection that lasts.

The spray does provide a clear skin and filled in the fine scatches after sanding however, the final finish is not very smooth as a factory finish. Lot of orange peel. I tried 3 times in shade and in full sun and did overlaping light coats and and then over laping heavy. In the end, i cleaned it off, stepped from 600 - 3000 grit, polished and finished it with ceramic coat. Came out much closer to factory finish by far. Aerosol is just not best if you are like me and looking for perfection.

Hi Carlos! Thank you for the feedback. The orange peel and texturing you experienced is due to the surface not being fully leveled at the 600-grit stage. The clear coat can only lay as smooth as the scratch pattern underneath it, so any remaining texture will show through. If you'd like another kit sent out, please shoot us an email! Thanks!

They are brand new again!

I was scared that I would make my headlights worse! But after about 15 min on each headlight I'm absolutely shocked at the result. The instructions were foolproof. Everything you needed was included even gloves and towels. I posted on the 3rd Gen MDX Facebook group and everyone was amazed at the difference. Thanks for a great product that was fool proof.

Loved using this product. Super easy and the results speak for themselves. I used the cerakote kit with the wipes last time and it only lasted 6 months, so happy I found this product, now I don't have to worry about having to buy another kit if/when it hazes up again thanks to the warranty.
